Air Cleaners
Whole-house air cleaners are installed as part of your home’s central heating and cooling system — completely out of your way and out-of-sight. That means each time your system runs, the air in your home is filtered through our state-of-the-art filter media, removing potentially harmful contaminants from every room of your home. The resulting clean air is then distributed via your heating and cooling system’s ductwork to your entire home. Best yet, the system is easy to maintain with infrequent maintenance only required 1-2 times a year, unlike portable units that require monthly care or standard filters that need cleaning every 1-3 months.
UV Lights
A UV Germicidal Lamp uses UVC spectrum light to kill mold and bacteria growing on the coil. This technology has been used for over 60 years to kill microorganisms. Your lamp will help reduce the risk of allergic reactions and illnesses caused by biological growth on the air conditioning or heat pump coil, and will eliminate the foul odors associated with such growth on the coil.
It’s an excellent addition to any indoor air quality system. In addition, it will protect your air conditioning system from reduced efficiency caused by biological growth on the air conditioning coil. By eliminating this growth, your air conditioner will run at peak performance and use less energy. The Ultraviolet Germicidal Lamp is designed for the lamp to be on at all times.
Humidifiers
A Whole-House Humidifier is installed directly to your central new or existing heating and cooling system. Humidity is introduced into your home’s air in the form of water vapor, which prevents minerals from entering the air in your home and potentially into your lungs. Water is supplied to the distribution tray, allowing it to flow evenly across the water panel. The resulting humidified air is then distributed via your heating and cooling system ductwork throughout your home.
Humidifiers are commonly used in homes to relieve the physical discomforts of dry nose, throat, lips, and skin. The moisture they add to dry air also helps alleviate common nuisances brought on by winter heating, such as static electricity, splitting woodwork, and cracks in paint and furniture.
Dehumidifiers
Portable dehumidifiers treat the air in just one room. To properly control health, comfort and preservation throughout your home, you would need to purchase a portable dehumidifier for every room. In this situation, you would consume more electricity than necessary. A more efficient solution is to have a single, whole-home central dehumidifier installed as part of your home’s central heating and cooling system.
Thermostats
The Digital Thermostat is an electronic version of the simple mechanical thermostat. It has electronic controls versus a glass vial to sense temperature changes and is much more accurate. These thermostats usually have large, easy to read displays and easily replace the older mechanical thermostat you might have in your home.
Digital Programmable Thermostat takes the digital thermostat and gives it a “brain.” It has user controls that allow you to set the days of the week, time, temperature, override, temporary temperature hold and other custom programming. These thermostats allow the weekday, Saturday or Sunday settings to be different and even tell you when you need to change your furnace filter.
The newest thermostats have touch screen, high definition color displays and they are controllable through the Internet and your Smartphone.
Zoning Systems
The Zoned Comfort Control system increases comfort by controlling specific temperature needs in designated areas of your home — making you and your family more comfortable while saving money by using less energy for heating and cooling needs.
Zoned Comfort Control is a system of more than one thermostat, electrically connected to a control panel which operates a number of dampers or pumps in your air or hot water heating/cooling system. Conditioned air or hot water is then distributed to various parts of your home as needed. The system can be installed in new or existing homes helping you achieve total indoor comfort. Plus there is no service required — only changes in living habits may make it necessary for system adjustments from time to time.
